Yusmarg is a picturesque alpine meadow in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, often called the "Meadow of Jesus". Located about 47 km from Srinagar, it is known for its lush green pastures, pine-lined forests, and snow-capped mountains in the Pir Panjal range. Popular activities include trekking to spots like the Nilnag Lake and Sang-e-Safed valley, horseback riding, fishing, and in winter, skiing. The best time to visit is from April to June and September, as monsoon and winter can bring heavy rain or snowfall.
